Here at ALC our residents experience genuine care with a smile. We are attentive to detail and aim for holistic wellness by providing a clean and lively living environment, encouraging nourishing meals and healthy lifestyle habits. We are ready to assist and support in all activities of daily living.

Administrators: John Lita & Jeanina Lup-Lita

John Lita started as an Administrator at our sister facility Alecsandru’s Loving Care in 2011 where he ran the day to day operations alongside his family.

Jeanina Lup-Lita is a Registered Nurse who has worked over seven years in healthcare specializing in elderly care as she herself is an old soul and enjoys the conversations and stories the elderly have to impart. 

John Lita

Hey there! I am 35 years old and was born and raised right here in beautiful Sacramento, CA. I have work in many different domains ranging from construction to fire-fighting to entrepreneurship to frontline caregiving.

I have lived my whole life here but have travelled back to my ancestral country of Romania to visit family and learn more about my roots. Traveling to Romania reaffirmed many of my family’s collectivistic values–one of which was to esteem and respect our elders for they are the ones who make our lives possible. It is this value that Ied me to delve into the world of healthcare and combine my culture’s esteem and respect for the elderly with my entrepreneurial nature.

From this background, the idea of opening a Care home came into fruition and my family and I opened our very first care home. I was an administrator for our family business and I worked hand in hand with my mom and sisters. Fast-forward 10 years later when my wife and I felt the calling and decided to branch out and open another family care home. We cherish the elderly people in our community and recognize that aging is part of life and that it is incumbent upon us as able bodied members in society to serve the ones that now require our help. 

Jeanina Lup-Lita

Hello. I am 33 years old and was born in Germany. My family and I moved to Sacramento when I was two and I’ve been here ever since! I was an old soul ever since I can remember and I especially enjoyed the little old ladies that would listen to my long make-believe tales and respond in like. It was their attention and patience for a little child’s fancies that endeared them to me.

In addition to talking my mouth off to anyone that would listen, I enjoyed reading, music (singing and piano in particular), maps, travelling, psychology and medicine. I grew up in a healthcare oriented family and remember my dad helping my grandparents and his friends decrypt and make sense of any medications or hospital diagnoses they were faced with.

It was this environment that led me to pursue a degree in psychology and in nursing. However, I found out that I wanted more than just typical bedside nursing because although you can find your patients that are willing to share stories here and there, you just don’t get the luxury of getting to know people in a hospital setting. Fast-forward to meeting and marrying my husband who was already in the Care Home industry, we knew that opening our own care home was the perfect step for our backgrounds and skill sets. 

Ruth Lita

Hello. I am 24 years old and I was born and raised here in sunny Sacramento. Since my family started a care home, I was “grandfathered” into the business. I grew up singing and making up little skits for the residents in my family’s care home. Since our family home was right across the street from our care home, the residents became our second family. Because of this I was very comfortable interacting with residents, families, and healthcare providers. When my brother and sister-in-law asked me to work with them to open and run their business it was the natural thing to do. I’ve been working alongside my sister-in-law and have been able to learn all sorts of nursing knowledge to add to me caregiving tool belt. I am happy to get to work in a home environment where we get to make residents feel independent and comfortable as if they are living in their own home. I love chatting with the residents and enjoy the window into the past I get by hearing their stories.

Rebecca Bacsi

Hello. I am 32 years old and I too was born and raised in Sacramento. I have a passion for design and for caring for the elderly. I get to do both while running my family care home. You’ll catch me helping out a resident one minute and then rearranging furniture or adding different plants and flowers to the resident garden to make it cute, accessible, and fun to live at my care home. I enjoy working with my family and caregivers to not only provide the best care for our North Highlands care home, but to brainstorm on how to enhance both sister facilities.
